Protecting Student Privacy

INB Flag

In Banner INB, search and find the student in the form named SPAIDEN. If you find a Confidentiality Flag in place, the opening screen will bring up an alert box, and thereafter be clearly marked "CONFIDENTIAL" in the upper left-hand corner.

If the Confidentiality Flag is checked, answer the inquiry with “I’m sorry, there is no information available for any person with that name.”
